The 26th International EVSSAR Congress will take place at the Alfândega Porto Congress Center

Situated in the heart of the city of Porto, on the banks of the River Douro, the Alfândega Porto Congress Centre surprises with its emblematic architecture, combining tradition and modernity.

In 1822, António José Borges, a merchant from Porto, presented six plans for an urban solution for a new custom house. This magnificent neoclassical building was renovated in the 1990s by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Eduardo Souto de Moura, who emphasized its unique architecture in the urban landscape.

It has been voted «Best Convention Centre in Portugal» four years in a row and «Best Meeting and Convention Centre in Europe» in 2014, 2015 and 2017, offering unique conditions in the local, national and international scenario.
